Let’s start with HOW TO APPLY FOR THE TOURIST LICENSE IN THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY

In the Valencian Community, the procedure consists of two steps:

  • First, you will have to go to the Town Hall of the town where the house is located to request the Certificate of Urban Compatibility for Tourist Property. Depending on the City Council, one documentation or another may be required for your application, the most frequent documentation that is usually requested is the following:
    • Facade photography
    • Interior plan of the house
    • House situation plan
    • Ownership deed
    • DNI/NIE/Passport
    • First or second occupation license
    • Current liability insurance
    • Payment of the corresponding  fee

  • Once the Certificate of Urban Compatibility for Tourist Housing has been issued by the City Council, the next step is to go to the Generalitat Valenciana to present the following documents:
    • Responsible declaration regarding property for tourist use
    • Certificate of urban compatibility provided by the corresponding Town Hall.
    • Deeds
    • First or second occupation license
    • Current liability insurance
    • DNI/NIE/Passport

This process can be done in person or through the following link.

The application is only made at the Electronic Office of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (CARM) through the 1890 procedure at the following link. The documentation to be provided would be the following:

    • Interior plan of the house
    • House situation plan
